A Liverpool-based energy and liquid transfer specialist has acquired a pharmaceutical wholesaler.
ChargePoint Technology Group, a portfolio company of Arcline Investment Management, has acquired PuroVaso, a leader in the design, development and manufacture of single-use containers, handling equipment and accessories for the pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical markets and life sciences.
Combined with the ChargePoint Technology portfolio of sterile containment and transfer technology, PuroVaso complements the existing product line.
It offers pharmaceutical manufacturers a wider choice of powder and liquid transfer, storage and handling products that solve customer application-specific problems with increased productivity.
Founded in 2016, PuroVaso, based in Swadlincote, Derbyshire, has developed a range of containers, handling equipment and accessories. The company’s single-use services are fully validated and used in numerous pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical and life science customer facilities around the world.

Steve Boswell and Duncan Betteley will not join ChargePoint as part of the PuroVaso acquisition. With S3 Process Ltd they will however continue as an OEM supplier of the PuroVaso product range in combination with the services they provide to the UK market.
